Our story begins on Ellis Island in 1901. One man, like thousands of Italian immigrants, came to make a better life for his family. The making of wine was his simple pleasure, blending the old with the new. He left no legacy...only a grandson who shares his name-Bartholomew Colucci. My grandfather now has his piece of the American dream.

Our wines have been carefully handcrafted to please even the most delicate palates. We also take great pride in our Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oils, all made in California.
The Barterra Winery is part of the Courtyard Gallery in Half Moon Bay, a great venue for your Special Events and Private Parties.
